It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a true patriarch of the Borough, Councilman, Richard B. McClintock.

Dick will be greatly missed by us all!


Obituary of Richard B. McClintock

Richard B. McClintock, age 93, of Upland, PA, died on Sunday, November 6, 2022.  Dick has spent much of his life in service to the Borough of Upland as Past Commander of Upland American Legion Post 871; Upland Fire Company; President of the Upland A.C.; Upland Police Officer; former Mayor of Upland; Upland Borough Council; Chester-Upland School Board; Chairman Emeritus of the Upland Republican Party.  He was a member of American Legion Post 926; Brookhaven Lions Club; life member of South East Police Chief’s Association; Delaware County Parks Board; Chester Masonic Lodge #236 F&AM; life member of the Delaware County Fireman’s Association.  He retired from Crozer Chester Medical Center as Security Director.  Mr. McClintock was a U.S Army Veteran.

Dick enjoyed vacations with his family and spending time together.

Predeceased by parents Mom & Pop McClintock; his Son, R. Leonard McClintock; brothers William, Thomas, Leonard, Robert, James, John and Edward McClintock and great-great-grandson Bailey Coury.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 15th from 9:30-10:45 at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 15th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment with Military Honors: Lawn Croft Cemetery.
