Update from Chariot Allaire

Health Matters

Municipal officials recently received an update from Chariot Allaire, the real estate developer leading the redevelopment of the former Crozer-Chester Medical Center campus, regarding ongoing planning efforts and recent project milestones.

Following a well-attended community town hall, the development team expressed appreciation for the strong public participation and emphasized that community feedback will continue to play an important role as plans move forward. Residents who were unable to attend the meeting are encouraged to submit questions or comments through the project's community email at community@chariotallaire.com.

Chariot Allaire's long-term vision is to restore access to healthcare services through a modern, sustainable model that combines right-sized inpatient care with expanded outpatient and ambulatory services. The goal is to improve access to high-quality healthcare while creating a system that better reflects today's healthcare delivery needs.

They also announced a new collaboration with Neumann University and other stakeholders to establish a primary care practice on the Crozer campus. While additional details are expected in the coming months, the partnership is viewed as an important first step toward restoring essential healthcare services for area residents.

In addition, Chariot Allaire reported that it has entered into a due diligence agreement with a regional academic medical center to explore opportunities for restoring comprehensive healthcare services in southern Delaware County. The real estate developer indicated that this evaluation is part of its broader campus redevelopment strategy and expressed optimism about future partnerships.

The municipality will continue to share updates as additional information becomes available.
