"Martin Luther King, Jr. - Day of Service" - Clean-up Day in the Borough
Monday, 1/19/2026

10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Community Affairs Association will hold a Annual MLK Cleanup of several parks and other areas located in Upland Borough. Join us at MacQueen Hall located at 224 Castle Avenue starting at 10:00 a.m..  Please bring gloves! Trash bags and other supplies will be provided.

"Senior Citizen Coffee Club"

The Community Affairs Association will hold a Continental Breakfast for borough senior citizens.  Must sign up in advance with borough office.  Deadline 1/9/26.


"Basket Bonanza Bingo Fundraiser"

The Community Affairs Association will hold a "Basket Bonanza Bingo" on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at MacQueen Hall. 

Tickets are $25 for 10 rounds of bingo and are available at the Borough Offices or contact committee members (Moira Crawford, Judith Bush and/or Julie Kerns).  

Door Prize - Raffle Baskets - 50/50 and Bonus Game available for additional purchase!

"Soup & Salad Fundraiser"

The Community Affairs Association will hold a "Soup & Salad Dinner" fundraiser on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at MacQueen Hall.

Homemade vegetable soup, chili and chicken & dumplings - salad bar, dessert and drink will be available for All-U-Can-Eat at MacQueen Hall from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Cost:  $15 Adults, $12 Senior Citizens and $10 Kids under 12.  Tickets are
available at the Borough Office.  Take out is available!

"Senior Citizen St. Patty's Day Luncheon"

Noon - 1:00 p.m.

To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the "Community Affairs Association" will hold a FREE Ham & Cabbage with potatoes luncheon for ALL Upland Borough Senior Citizens at MacQueen Hall on Monday, March 16th, 2026 starting at noon. Must contact the borough office to sign up in advance - deadline 3/9/26.


"Easter Egg Hunt "

The "Annual Easter Egg Hunt" for Borough Children will start at 9:00am in the Ball Field (Bristol Lord Field) located at 6th & Main Streets.


"Breakfast with the Easter Bunny"

9:30am - 11:30am

The "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny" will be held at MacQueen Hall at 9:30am to 11:30am.

The cost: Adults - $8.00; and Children (12 and under) - FREE with identification and $3.00 without.

Pictures will be taken with the Easter Bunny.

The Annual Memorial Day Parade will start at Upland Baptist Church  beginning at 9:00am and will conclude at the War Memorial located at Bristol Lord Field (6th & Main Streets).


"Memorial Day Picnic"

The annual Memorial Day Picnic sponsored by Resurrection Life Church and Upland Baptist Church will be held in Bristol Lord Field at 6th & Main Streets following the Memorial Day Parade (11:00am - 2:00pm). Join us for FREE hot dogs and hamburgers.

"FREE School Supplies Fall 2026"

Pick Up - Saturday, August 8, 2026
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The UBCAA will be distributing FREE School Supplies for current Upland Borough children on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at MacQueen Hall located at 224 Castle Avenue.

For current Upland Borough Children to be eligible to receive FREE School Supplies, parents/guardians must sign-up their child. School supplies must be picked up on August 8, 2026.

This completed form (see below attached fillable form) must be dropped off to the Borough Office NO later than July 10, 2026.

"Coat Drive Pick up 2026"

The UBCAA will be distributing FREE Winter Coats for current Upland Borough children on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at MacQueen Hall located at 224 Castle Avenue.

For current Upland Borough Children to be eligible to receive FREE Winter Coats, parents/guardians must sign-up their child. Winter Coat(s) must be picked up on September 19, 2026.

This completed form (see below attached fillable form) must be dropped off to the Borough Office NO later than Friday, September 4, 2026.

"FREE Thanksgiving Dinner for Borough Seniors"

The "Community Affairs Committee" will be having a FREE Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner for Borough Seniors (over 62 years old) on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at MacQueen Hall starting at 6:00pm. Borough Seniors that wish to attend must register at the Municipal Offices. The Municipal Office is located at 224 Castle Avenue, Upland and is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm.

"Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony"

6:00pm

All borough residents are invited to join us for the "Annual Holiday Tree Lighting" to be held at Bristol Lord Field located at Castle Avenue and Main Street at 6:00pm. Refreshments will be served immediately following the tree lighting ceremony at MacQueen Hall.  Santa will also be making an appearance for all borough youth 13 years old and under. In order for Santa to have a gift available, parents/guardians must sign-up their child.  See below attached fillable form.  The completed forms must be dropped off to the Municipal Building Office no later than Friday, November 6, 2026.


The Church Street Thrift Shop - Resurrection Life Church

Open the 1st & 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00am - 2:00pm
(Closed July & August)

The shop's purpose is to provide residents of the local communities with a convenient and caring place to purchase good quality used items at a reasonable cost. These items include clothing for all ages, toys, books, holiday and household items. Proceeds benefit RLC's Community Outreach Programs and Building Fund projects.
