Borough Recycling Collection

Household products containing toxic chemicals like pesticide, oil-based paint, weed killers, auto batteries, anti-freeze, and some home cleaners, can be a threat to the environment if improperly discarded. Never throw away these items in the trash. They could harm the highway workers or result in fires in the collection vehicles. It is also not safe to pour these items down your drain or sewers. These products should be taken to the nearest waste collection station. For a list of area stations, please visit: Delaware County Solid Waste and Recycling.

The Borough has obtained a Recycling Grant which went toward the purchase of new recycling containers. If your container was destroyed, please feel free to stop by the Borough Office for a new recycling container. Please remember that we recycle plastic bottles, glass, aluminum cans and rinsed metal food cans.

Collection is scheduled for the 1st & 3rd Friday of the month (unless a holiday) - noted on the Borough online Calendar.  Must use designated Recycling Trash Collection can.
