Borough Recycling Collection

Household products containing toxic chemicals like pesticide, oil-based paint, weed killers, auto batteries, anti-freeze, and some home cleaners, can be a threat to the environment if improperly discarded. Never throw away these items in the trash. They could harm the highway workers or result in fires in the collection vehicles. It is also not safe to pour these items down your drain or sewers. The Borough offers one (1) recycling can per residence.  If you use more than one (1) can, you will need to supply your own additional can(s).  The Borough does offer  a "Recycling" sticker for your additional can(s).

Collection is scheduled for the 1st & 3rd Friday of the month (unless a holiday) - noted on the Borough online Calendar.  Must use designated Recycling Trash Collection can.
